The Tools You Need for Successful Living

We not only want you to have a good time and see results while here at the resort, we also want you to be equipped with the knowledge and tools needed to continue successful healthy living at home. Our educational series has been mindfully created by health professionals to meet those needs. It is based around five main components.

 

Knowledge

We strive to provide the most up-to-date, research-based information regarding nutrition, fitness, and overall health.

Awareness

We work with guests to help them recognize cues from their bodies that tell them when they need to eat, sleep, be active, etc.

Assessment

We help guests evaluate their current lifestyles and individual situations, in addition to identifying sources of support and accountability, in order to determine the most realistic approach for their success.

Planning

We help and encourage guests to set realistic short and long term goals.

Reflection

We guide guests through the process of reflecting on their past and current goals, successes and failures, and related emotions to help identify any barriers to future success.

Our interactive classes are led by qualified health experts such as our registered dietitian, certified nutritionist, certified health coach and licensed therapist, certified trainers, and executive chef. Topics we cover often include energy needs and portion control, label reading, intuitive eating, meal planning, cooking demos, high intensity vs low intensity exercise, strength training, and food addiction.
